Forex market movements were muted in early Asia trade on Monday, as the dollar held largely steady against regional currencies.
The Taiwanese dollar was, however, up 0.3 per cent on its US counterpart at NT$30.318.
The Australian dollar had gained 0.1 per cent on the greenback to $0.7578, while Japan’s yen was flat at ¥111.31 per dollar.
Outside the region the pound was up 0.2 per cent at $1.2749. The dollar index measuring the greenback against a basket of peers was flat at 97.249.
